Man charged with the murder of a Nigerian, Moses Fadairo in east London

27-year-old Christopher Erunse was today, October 1, charged with the murder of Moses Fadairo.

Moses Fadairo, 25, was gunned down on a busy market street in Clapton by a gun-wielding mob in a suspected gangland execution in Hackney, east Londonon Saturday, September 26, just after 1pm. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene.

According to Evening Standard, the father of twin boys born earlier this year  staggered into Mighty Meats  butche's shop in Chatsworth Road, Lower Clapton, then ran 50 yards down the road before collapsing in a pool of blood.

Christopher Erunse, of Greenwich, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court. He has also been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm. Erunse was arrested on Tuesday in Birmingham. A 25-year-old man arrested on the afternoon of the killing, suspected of possessing an offensive weapon, has been bailed.

A third man, 23, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, and has been bailed until December
Shopkeepers in Chatsworth Road, Lower Clapton, told the Standard on Saturday how they feared for their lives after hearing Fadairo being gunned down in the street outside.

Speaking at the family home the following day, his grieving sister said:

"He was a lovely boy – he didn’t deserve this."
A family friend added:

"Moses was telling me he was trying to do something good with his life, that he
was going to university. It’s a tragic loss of life. It’s more children now who will
grow up without a father. The killing has got to stop."

Another friend described Mr Fadairo, whose twin sons were born in January, as “a warm-hearted guy” who was “generous and kind”

I can be successfully impeached if I interfere - Pres. Buhari speaks on Saraki's Trial

President Buhari says he will not be interfering in the trial of the senate president Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal as he could be successfully impeached if he does so. According to him, the Nigerian constitution does not permit interference between the three arms of government, that is the Legislature, Judiciary and the Executive.

Buhari said this in an interview with Sahara TV.

"What has the president got to do with another person. The case is in court. Do Nigerians expect me to tell the chief justice to tell which ever court that they shouldn't try the senate president? Do Nigerians know about the constitution of their own country? The judiciary, the legislator and the executives have got their own roles within the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria? Then how do they expect me to interfere? I can be successfully impeached if I do it?" he said

Asked how confident he is on the senate president just as 84 senators did two days, Buhari said

"That will depend on the outcome of the court. decision".

Asked if himself and Saraki are on talking terms, he said

"Rightly. You know there are some appointments which the senate has to approve and I can't remember how many letters I personally wrote to him because it is constitutional. There are people I want to work with but I cannot work with them unless the national assembly approves. So I have been writing to the senate president and to the leader of the house. This is constitutional."he said

Uwazuruike to UN: It’s time to carve out Biafra from Nigeria

Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, yesterday, gave what he termed as genuine reasons the United Nations should allow Biafra to be separated from Nigeria.

One of the reasons, he stated, was that the population of the former Eastern state, now South East and part of South South that make up Biafra land can currently boast of over 10 million people, adding that  the Biafran people naturally do not share similar culture and tradition with Hausa-Fulani of the North and Yoruba of the South West as to continue to remain together under one country called Nigeria.

Uwazuruike

According to Uwazuruike, another reason was that MASSOB, as a separatist group, had all it takes to run a sovereign state of Biafra, having had enough instruments, structures, flag, currency, coat of arms and defence to assume a status of an existing government.

Uwazuruike, who spoke to newsmen, yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra State, through MASSOB’s Deputy National Director of Information, Mazi Chris Mocha, ahead of the on-going UN General Assembly, renewed his call on the world body to accord a recognition to Biafra as a sovereign state, just as it did to South Sudan which had been accorded a sovereign status since July 9, 2011.

He recalled that US had classified Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan as failed states which needed to be divided between 2011 and 2015, adding that it was only from Sudan that South Sudan was carved out on July 9, 2011, remaining Nigeria, Ethiopia and Somalia.

He cited examples of carving out of East-Timor with only a population of about 821,000 from Indonesia on May 22, 2002; carving out of Serbia with a population of about 10 million from Montenegro on July 2006; carving out of South Ossertia from Georgia and carving out of Kosovo from Serbia on February 17, 2008.

He, therefore, urged UN to  grant the sovereignty of Biafra to save the people from further annihilation in Nigeria since there was no basis whatsoever for Biafra people’s continued stay with Nigeria, adding, “Nigeria cannot make any appreciable economic progress until Biafra is allowed to go, particularly now that Lord Fredrick Luggard’s amalgamation of 1914 has since January 1, 2014, expired after 100 years of the amalgamation.”

He wondered why the UN had not been proactive in tackling the knotty problems of the oppressed in Nigeria and asked rhetorically: “is UN waiting till things degenerate into full blown war again or to continue as genocide before they will act?”

Estelle says:Can these people rest already! Biafra everyday, do all other countries have the same culture in their tribes. Why don't you use this energy in making a better Nigeria. I'm sure you're all doing this for your selfish gains.

Nigerian Army Says Boko Haram is Poisoning Water Sources in Borno

The Nigerian Army on Wednesday stated that Boko Haram has began poisoning water sources in some villages in Borno.

Here is the statement, as reported by Daily Trust:

Information reaching the Theatre Command, Operation Lafiya Dole indicates that Boko Haram terrorists have now resorted to poisoning water sources like wells and streams in areas they were dislodged by gallant troops or areas threatened by offensive operations.

The latest being the poisoning of the cattle water ponds in Kangallam village along Marte and Abadam axis in Borno State where a large number of cattle died after drinking water from the ponds.

Credible information available to the Theatre Command indicates that though no human life was lost as a result of the barbaric act of the terrorists, however, some cattle were killed after drinking water from some poisoned sources.

The action of the terrorists is no doubt aimed at taking their own pound of flesh on the innocent citizens and livestock as a result of the unbearable offensive operations through the combined effort of the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Air Force to route them out completely from their enclaves and hide-outs all over the North East.

In view of this development citizens are called upon to avoid as much as possible drinking water from unverified sources especially in locations that troops routed out Boko Haram terrorists. You are please requested to disseminate this information to the public through your medium. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

Signed,

Colonel Tukur Gusau Deputy Director Army Public Relations

Man finds woman trapped in a car, you won't believe what he does next

Kimberly Smith was driving alone Sunday morning through Texas when she lost control of her vehicle and rolled it three times. Somewhat alert but completely confused, Kimberly was trapped upside down in her crumpled car, hoping someone would see her and come to her rescue.

Pinned and terrified inside her mangled ride on the morning of September 27, Kimberly was relieved to see someone coming toward her to help. The seemingly good Samaritan — described as a “tall, skinny black male in his 30’s” — approached her and said he would call 911, according to a Facebook post made by Kimberly’s brother Joshua Smith.

The stranger had crossed over some debris from the wreck as he walked toward Kimberly, picking up some of her personal belongings en route to tell her that he was there to help.

“Even found her purse and brought it over to her,” Joshua said about the initial encounter in his post. “She was still dazed and confused from the accident and he said he was gonna go get his cell to call 911.”

Not wanting to be left alone in the terrifying position, Kimberly begged the stranger to stay with her. The man reassured her not to worry, saying he wasn’t going anywhere, when in fact he was.

According to Joshua, with his sister’s wallet still in hand, the stranger went back to his car on the claim of calling police, but instead, he took off with her cash, cards, and identification.

“And all this happened after she was trapped upside down and NOBODY stopped to help her. What the hell is wrong with this world!?”

Joshua exclaimed with complete disgust for what this man did and what other passersby didn’t do.

This “black male” saw a vulnerable woman, and rather than helping her, he took it as an opportunity to rob her. Knowing she was trapped and injured, he took off and surely didn’t call police, since he just stole from her. Cars continued to whiz by, not bothering to stop, even though her rolled car was out in plain sight. Then, by the grace of God, someone with a good heart actually stopped and got her the medical attention she desperately needed and even waited with her for emergency services to show up.

Kimberly was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, which, as she said herself, is “nothing short of a miracle,” considering the double dose of trauma she endured that morning.

Her brother was very angry at what happened to his sister and took her account of the incident to social media in hopes his blast will result in identifying the disgusting thief and bring him to justice.
He wrote on FB:

“If anybody has a ‘friend’ that is bragging about robbing some girl after she flipped her car this morning, please be a real friend and let us know,” Joshua wrote. “I hope this guy who stopped to ‘help’ and everyone that did not stop at all, is not a majority in our society today,” Joshua added. “We are better people than that. Everyone please share this and maybe we can find this loser.”

The guy who stole from Kimberly only walked up to her car to see if she was dead, hoping to get whatever he could find around her body, and he took off with what he could when he saw she was still alive. This man essentially looted an injured car crash victim. People like this are soulless heathens who only care about what they can get from innocent people.

Jealous man runs over ex wife and her new lover, killing him and maiming her

A man ran over his ex-wife and her new boyfriend in the driveway of a police station while shocked police officers stood by and watched. Horrific footage shows the attack that left the boyfriend dead and the ex-wife fighting for her life in hospital.

The suspect, Zhang Chou, from Tianchang in East China’s Anhui Province, was reportedly furious that his recently divorced wife had already found a new boyfriend. Chou threatened to kill his estranged wife, 29-year-old Qin, if she continued to see her new lover, 38-year-old Min Lai.

After Chou’s death threats, Min suggested that Qin report Chou to authorities. But just as the two arrived at the police station, Chou mowed them down in his car.

Security footage from Tianchang City Public Security Bureau shows the moment Chou’s black car charges full speed into the back of Qin and Min and through the gate of the police station.

The impact threw Qin into the air, while Min was carried on the roof of Chou’s car for more than 20 metres before running him over.

Chou then exited his car and began kicking Min’s badly-injured body.

The angry ex-husband then ran down to Qin and he grabbed her body like a rag doll and proceeded to stamp on her and kick her.

Two men stood and watched and did not intervene as Chou returned to Min's body to continue attacking him.

As Chou goes back to Qin he was finally subdued by two police officers.

Reports said Min died of his injuries and that Qin has been rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Chou was arrested and remains in custody as investigation continues.

Kwara state cancels Independence parade following security fears

The Kwara State Government has cancelled the state's 55th Independence anniversary parade scheduled to hold at the Metropolitan Square, Ilorin, the state capital following some security fears.

According to the Secretary to the Government Sola Gold, security reports received by the police in the state suggested that some individuals arrived the state on Wednesday night allegedly with the intention of disrupting the independence day celebration and endangering lives.

Recall that the state Eid prayer was disrupted last week after some aggrieved residents in the state stormed the prayer ground to boo the senate president Bukola Saraki.

Do you agree with Peter Okoye (Psquare)?

Yes work hard and shine and not shining by showing off...I know of so many people that work hard...they are super rich...they don't show off...well it boils down to individual perceptions...for me...no need showing off....for some they find it cool..humans differ...

Tyga and Kylie, Trouble in paradise?

So on Tuesday, Kylie Jenner met her boyfriend Tyga for lunch in LA. He opened the car for her and then walked behind her with that scowl on his face. Then yesterday, they met again for lunch and I guess he got tired of her being on her phone and made these faces, lol. This looks to me like lovers quarrel, hope no break up in view.
